There are two types of exfoliants – physical and chemical. The Body Exfoliator is a rinse-off physical + chemical exfoliant in one. The formula features Volcanic Pumice and AHA/BHA/PHA. With continued use The Body Exfoliator helps treat and prevent KP, ingrown hairs, and rough, textured skin patches for softer and smoother-looking skin.

Why Is pH Level Mentioned On The Package?

During the formulation process we optimize the pH of the formula. We believe it directly impacts the safety and efficacy of the formula. The pH objective will vary based on product purpose. On the secondary packaging (carton) we provide a pH range. The reason pH range is indicated is that pH may vary during the manufacturing process and/or slightly change over time. Formulas that do not contain enough water will not have a pH listed.

    Double exfoliator!

    This is a second purchase on the body exfoliator. I live in Wisconsin where the winters are harsh and skin gets so, so dry! I love this stuff to keep my body and feet smooth all winter long. When I get in the shower, I put this on my feet right away to let the chemical exfoliants soak in a bit while I do everything else. Then, at the end, I do a nice scrub thanks to the physical exfoliants. What I like most is that even the physical exfoliant is not harsh or scratchy. (Some that I've made or bought are very scratchy). This feels great! I would prefer something unscented, but I do like this eucalyptus. It's mild.
