Why is The Deodorant formulated without Ozokerite?
During our development phase our teams did scientific ingredient research as per protocol. During our research we found Ozokerite to have an incidental trace level of BHT or Paraffin. At Nécessaire we adhere to EU ingredient listing on our packaging and in our formulation. The base of The Deodorant formula is Sunflower Wax.

Why is The Deodorant formulated with Mandelic Acid?
Mandelic Acid creates a low pH environment that inhibits the growth of odor-causing bacteria. While AHAs primary role is to help combat odor, the gentle exfoliation also helps to minimize shaving bumps and discoloration.

The Deodorant is formulated with AHAs, so we do not recommend applicatoin directly after shaving. If you wish to try, we suggest a patch test.

We formulate without ingredients on the EU's prohibited substances list (Regulation No.1223/2009, Annex II). The Deodorant is Dermatologist-Tested, Hypoallergenic and Non-Comedogenic. If you have any specific concerns, we recommend consulting your doctor.
