What is the difference between The Deodorant and The Deodorant Gel?

The Deodorant and The Deodorant Gel both contain Mandelic Acid, Vitamin B3 and Vitamin B5 for clean odor control and less shaving bumps. The Deodorant is a no-residue solid stick ideal for normal-to-heavy odor control. The Deodorant Gel is a clear quick-dry serum-in-gel ideal for light-to-normal odor control.

Why is The Deodorant formulated with Mandelic Acid?

The Deodorant and The Deodorant Gel are both formulated with Mandelic Acid to provide a low pH environment that inhibits the growth of odor-causing bacteria. While Mandelic Acid's primary role is to help provide clean odor control, the gentle exfoliation also helps to minimize shaving bumps.

Why is The Deodorant formulated without Ozokerite?

Nécessaire adheres to EU ingredient standards and EU ingredient listing. All ingredients inclusive of all incidentals are captured on our ingredient labels. During our development process of The Deodorant our clinical team and vendor partners were not able to find a clean Ozokerite as base for our formula. The available sources of Ozokerite that we found had incidental traces of BHT or Paraffin. We therefore used Sunflower Wax as our base. A Sunflower Wax base is softer which means that there can be slight dome imperfections, but we welcome those imperfections in exchange for better ingredients.

The Deodorant is Aluminum-Free, Baking Soda-Free, Ozokerite-Free, Paraben-Free, PEG-Free and Silicone-Free. The Deodorant adheres to EU formulation standard and EU ingredient listing. All ingredients inclusive of all incidentals are captured on the ingredient labeling across website and on pack. The Deodorant is dermatologist-tested, hypoallergenic and non-comedogenic.

    It REALLY works!

    I have horrible pit odor…I have my entire life. I used many, many natural deodorants and they worked ok. This one really works…absolutely no odor on me or my clothing and eucalyptus sent is so fresh smelling! I purchased the shower soap and lotion as well and both of those products are AWESOME too! The gel is not drying and the lotion isn’t heavy or greasy and your skin feels hydrated and smells amazing! This scent would be ok for both men and women I think because it smells like cedar and then there’s a hint of lavender which I think is appealing to both.

    Love this product and cannot wait to try another scent in the future.

    Finally, after all these years!

    So glad I was convinced to try this deodorant. Works very well to keep my fresh and dry. I'm spreading the news. Going to get the other two scents.
